Has my blog been boring lately?
Mindy (aka my Mom) informed me that it was and I haven't been getting as many comments lately so this would leave me to believe that it was true.
I can't promise you that I'll change things up, because well this is my blog, and as my Mom knows I like to do what I want..

Favorite Purchase
I've was really trying to be good this week with money and I feel like I was until.. I wasn't.
I saw this dress over on PIPM and I loved it. When I went to search it, I found it was "Online Only" so I bit the bullet and purchased. I'm hoping it's just as cute on when it arrives because I think it will be a great winter piece with a scarf and booties! Plus I can wear it to work.. perfect!
Favorite Sweet
I blame Katie for this one but these cookies are ahhh-mazing! So easy to make but also insanely addictive. Based off my Instagram comments I figured you'd all want to know the recipe so go visit Katie here and then run home and make them. You won't be sorry, but your booty will be!

Update: There are cheating rumors that Emily was "sexting" NFL QB Matt Leinart.
Emily and Jef are sticking to their story of it not being true and are still together.. for now.

Favorite Mail Arrival
Aren't these awesome? I got them from a Klout perk which means.. they were FREE. I sort of winged it when I designed them on the website so I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out. The back of the card is entirely leopard print, which is awesome! It makes me so official to have a business card with my blog header/URL on it haha. I'm hoping I can do some networking with these and possibly do more reviews. You hear that HANA?! I want a new blow dryer! ;)
Favorite Song
I am not an American Idol fan whatsoever, so I was really surprised when I heard this song and loved it. Apparently it was used a lot in the Olympics but I didn't really watch much so I didn't notice. It's weird to me when I hear his voice and then see him because they don't really match ya know? Either way this song is awesome and has been on repeat as of late.

I think maybe we are all suffering from some bloggy burnout - my comments are down as well (and it looks like other bloggers are feeling the same way) and every time I do manage to post I feel like it's not "up to par" - but I don't think your blog has been boring! I got that Klout perk too but never cashed in on it. I saw reviews that you had to pay shipping so I said HAIL NAW. Plus I don't really blog as a business, but if I did, my card would just be a giant picture of Jacob in his hat with my URL. That would drive traffic FOR SURE.

Hey lady! Okay, soooo I heard about Jef and Emily's cheating dealio too and actually Jef's brother confirmed the story to US Magazine that she is/was sexting some other guy behind Jef's back. I didn't hear who it was tho. I love your blog btw :)
Kendol told me the same thing the other day... He was like "yea... your blog's been slacking lately" Baha! I haven't noticed yours being boring at all, but atleast we have honest people to help us out ha!

Kidding! I do think though that blogland has been busy with back to school - students, teachers - and they aren't posting or commenting as much. But things will be back to normal soon!

I love your photos that have all the little glittery things in the corner...how do you do that?! I've seen it on a couple photos now and of course, all over InstaGram. I have so much to say about this post!! First of all, your last name is Morrissey?? SO FUNNY it's the same as Leeann's--that is hilarious! Secondly, I LOVE that dress. So much. I'm scared to order it though b/c I'm not a big fan of my tummy these days and I am scared the belt will emphasize it . . . why can't they have it in stores so we can try it on??
And re: Jef and Emily, OMG!!! I had heard the cheating rumors, but I had no idea that it was MATT LEINART . . . I mean I don't endorse cheating at all but . . . he is seriously smokin' hot. Ha. I hope for Jef's sake it isn't true, b/c Matt Leinart would be hard to resist!

I need to check Klout more! I got the business cards one twice and the first time I didn't need them so I gave them to someone. Then the second time I saw it would have a Klout symbol so I passed. Do yours? They look so cute!
And I love me some Jef - he's too cute! I interned for a magazine and had to do fact checking and called Matt Leinart's publicist to verify our story. I was nervous bc I was brand new and I pronounced his name Line-hart and the rep was such a jerk! Bc of that I am not a Matt fan baha! Plus doesn't he already have 2 kids by 2 women?! Ew.

I was surprised by that guys song too! I like it! I also like that dress. I think that it will be great for winter! Ps. I don'tthink your blog is ever boring. I always find it relatable and easy to comment, which makes my life easier ;)
