I am so happy to be back to doing my favorite posts and all of the major awards shows are right around the corner so they won't be stopping for awhile!

Also, please ignore the fact that the MTV Video Music Awards were a week ago. For no reason at all, this took me forever to get together!

Oh, and I know I was going to announce the winner of the giveaway today but I forgot to pick a winner and can't access Rafflecopter from work so it will be up tomorrow!

Last but not least, thanks for all for all of the amazing birthday wishes on Tuesday! You guys are the best and it really made my day :)

Oh Hermione, you've outdone yourself. I love everything about this look because it's perfect for the VMA's. It's young and fun without being skanky. Also, I'm sort of obsessed with milk maid braids right now!

 

Pink in Stella McCartney

I love Pink and I love that she stays true to her own look, which enables her to rock it like a pro. The same cannot be said for her copy cat who can be found below. Loving the metallic and the long sleeves!

 

Katy Perry in Elie Saab

Oh Katy, the hair! I die for this hair even though I know it's extensions. I don't mind this dress and since it doesn't clash with the hair color I just can't complain. Now she needs to just stay away from John Mayer!

 

McKayla Maroney in Erin Fetherston

I really love this dress. The color is great and it fits her perfectly. It's age appropriate and she looks darling! The same can't be said for her draped jersey wearing team mates but I won't get into that.

 

Misses

 

Miley Cyrus in Prada

Personally, I think Pink should sue for "Bitch stole my look!" but honestly I just don't get it. Miley can be so pretty when she tones it down, yet we always see her trying to be as loud as possible.

Chill out girl! Also, doesn't it kind of look like a vampire halloween costume?

 

Alicia Keys in Alexandre Vauthier

This award goes to the poorly fitted dress and the material that appears to be duct tape. She's such a gorgeous woman and this ensemble does nothing for her body. Also, not a huge fan of this new hair she's rocking!

 

Taylor Swift in J.Mendel

So let me get this straight? Taylor dates a 30 year old and dresses like a teenager. Taylor dates a high schooler and dresses like a grandma. It's not the outfit that I hate because it's very chic, but it's not her style and not appropriate for the event. Taylor seems to always be confused about the looks she's going for.

 

Nicki Minaj in Versace

I know that I shouldn't be surprised because it is Nicki after all, but can we move away from the body suits? If you must wear a jump suit can it least not be overly embellished? Nothing this chick wears is remotely flattering and I don't get it. Plus I heard that she told Ri Ri "To sit the f**k down!" She must be jelly that Breezy and Drake are fighting over her, which for the record I don't get.

 

Soo Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are knocked up.

Let's talk about this mess for a second. Can you even imagine two people that would be worse parents? I mean I love me some Wiz Khalifa but homeboy posts pictures of weed on Instagram every day.. do you really think that's going to be a good environment for an infant? No it is not.
