Hello Lovies!
First things first..
This happened yesterday and it made my whole day!
It's hard to believe that just 9 months ago I started this blog and now we're here.
I can't thank you guys enough, truly.
Now onto the good stuff..
FASHION.
If I discussed all of my favorite lines from NYFW we would be here all day,
so I'll stick to my two go-to faves.. Marchesa and Zac Posen.
What can I say? I just adore a good American fashion designer.
Marchesa
Ya'll know I live and die for Marchesa, and I think Keren and Georgina can work wonders with fabric and a dress form. If I'm being completely honest though, this wasn't my favorite collection. They still have all of that incredible detail and sparkle, but there just wasn't enough drama for me. One of my favorite techniques that they do is texture and volume and there was hardly any to be seen. I missed the big ball gown moment. Below, are the five looks I did love. I would live in those sparkle leggings and I adore the pink and blue tones. So gorgeous! The lace and draping were incredible, as usual.
Zac Posen
I know it's silly but part of what makes me love Zac Posen so much, is how darn cute he is! I just want to be friends with him so bad. That aside, this collection was pure glamour. There was obvious retro inspiration, but the whole thing was beautiful and there were such great pieces. I loved the fabrics, I couldn't get enough of the shimmering satin, delicate tulle and the floral patterns. He did some truly amazing work with lines and it made each piece really stand out. I am completely obsessed with the cream corset. Oh, and Coco Rocha in the final gown? Breathtaking.

I completely agree about Marchesa this season. I still would wear any of it though :-)
And Coco in the final look...omg that is absolute perfection! I really liked Zac's line this season.
I haven't had a lot of time to look through collections, so I usually wait for the summaries from The Fug Girls or The Cut. I'm lazy :)

I LOVE these two collections too. Zac Posen's collections are always so fitted and womanly. And Marchesa just defines femininity perfectly... flowing gowns and jewels galore!
