Hey Ya'll!
It's about time I recap my birthday shenanigans, seeing as how it's been over a week since all of the fun went down. It's not ideal to have a weekday birthday but don't you worry I made the best of it!
My day started early at work, but my free birthday Starbucks made the morning a little better. My coworkers brought in bagels and lemon cheesecake and we also had Maggiano's (for another co worker's anniversary) catered in for lunch. It was delicious!
At 3:30 on the dot, I skipped out of work and went to meet my girl Grace so we could head to Downtown Denver and kickoff the fun! We headed to few bars before the game to get drinks and chit chat. Around 6:30 we headed to Coors Field and it started RAINING! Boo Colorado weather. We still sat in our awesome seats and unfortunately watched the Rockies lose to the Giants :(
Ps. I love me some Moscow Mules but when I order one and it shows up as vodka and hard apple cider, I will not be happy! Ginger beer or nothing, duh!

Grace and I at the game. We made sure to wear purple to be festive, of course! In case you weren't aware, I am not the biggest baseball fan but I like to go for the whole experience. You know the beer, hot dogs, boys in tight pants, and fun! We were laughing and cracking jokes the whole time and the people around us were either totally annoyed or genuinely amused. We will never know.
Let's talk presents. Can I just say that I was completely spoiled?
a. Jewelry from Leeann, Dana, Rachel, and Grace. I was cracking up because I am a silver girl like 95% of the time but looks like I have to be a gold girl now! I love all of it and I'm so glad those sweet girls pushed me out my comfort zone.
b. Birthday cards are the best. Dana and Rachel got me the same one, which is about drinking daily which I found so hilarious! Not to be biased but the one on the bottom is probably my favorite. My sweet 5 year old cousin drew us together and it's the cutest thing ever!
c. My amazing parents got me a beautiful and huge flat screen HD TV and my sweet aunt and uncle got me an awesome wireless blu-ray player! I feel like such an adult with nice things like this ;)
d. My besties Katie and Alex sent me this adorable Maybook. Since my Erin Condren goes through December I am trying to hold off on using it, but it's hard because I like it so much more!
Sadly, it came to an end.. like all birthdays do.
Cheers to 23! I can already tell it's going to be a great year.

i am so excited about this post!!!! i am just dying that dana and i sent you the same card....the funniest part about that is i actually got you a different card first! i got it when i had to make a target run when we were in PA at the end of august and i draged it all the way back home with me, but then we unpacked the car, and that card was missing, so i had to get another one. i couldn;t rememeber which on i got you in PA, so i just picked a new one and it looks like it was fate ;)

I'm having the same dilemma with my May Book I just got! It starts in January and it's killing me to have to wait until then to use it :) I've even kept it in the package so it doesn't get messed up! Oh and PS if any of that gold jewelry doesn't work, you can send it my way ;)
