Hello darlings!
Today is going to be a long day at work, because when the clock hits 4:30pm I am off to meet up with my Mom, Aunt, and Uncle for the Madonna concert at the Pepsi Center! When my Mom bought the tickets I was hesitant because I wouldn't say I'm her biggest fan, but as it got closer I got more and more excited. Then I ended up winning front row seats and I now I can hardly wait. It's going to be a fun night that's for sure! I put together a pretty fun outfit for the occasion, but you'll have to wait for the recap to see what I picked.
Today I want to talk about one of my favorite things.. TV! We all know that come Fall, all of the good shows are back on and some new ones premiere as well. Here's what I'm watching and loving:
Mondays: 90210, Gossip Girl, and The Voice
My favorite show on Mondays in Gossip Girl and it's starting to set in that this is the 6th and final season. There is less than two months left which is crazy because I feel like I've been watching it for such a long time. There are rumors floating around that Serena has been filming in a wedding dress, but if there isn't a Chuck and Blair wedding to end the series I'm not going to be happy.
Tuesdays: Hart of Dixie, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Private Practice, and Parenthood
Tuesday's favorite is a tie between New Girl and Parenthood. New Girl just cracks me up! This show is always funny no matter what is going on. I wish it was an hour instead of 30 minutes. Parenthood is a new development, because I finally finished watching on Netflix so I am caught up to the current season. I love this show but goodness it makes me cry every time I watch. The ending of the last episode had me blubbering like a baby. The family dynamic reminds me so much of my Mom's side of the family.
Wednesdays: Modern Family, American Horror Story, The Challenge, Nashville, and X Factor
Wednesday's have to go to Nashville! I was skeptical about this new show but two episodes in and I'm loving it. The very basic story line reminds me so much of the movie Country Strong which is one of my favorites. I think Hayden Panettiere plays her character so well. I'm excited for the rest of the season!
Thursdays: Vampire Diaries, Beauty and the Beast, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and Glee
Thursday's are hands down my favorite TV days. I love every single show that's on. I've already talked about my love for Vampire Diaries here so I'll talk about my other two favorites. Scandal is just amazing. I've never been into political shows but the mix of political, crime solving, and drama maks ethis show so good. I was looking forward to it coming back on all Summer long. I want Olivia and the President to be together so bad! My new favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I figured this was another cheesy CW show and it kind of is, but I don't mind it. This show can replace my beloved Ringer that was cancelled!
Sundays: Revenge and The Amazing Race
I feel sort of blah about Revemge so far, but I'm really hoping it gets better in the next few episodes. I'm super confused about the story line between the white haired man and Emily's Mom.
What I'm looking forward to: Smash, The Bachelor, The Client List, Happy Endings, Pretty Little Liars, Courtney Loves Dallas, It's a Brad Brad World and Whitney.
This is scary proof that I watch too much television, thank god for my DVR ;) My favorites are the ones I usually watch the night they are on and the rest I save and catch up on over the weekend.

OMG! We watch so many of the same shows! HAHA Only you have to add in Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice to mine. :) And all the shows Jake and I watch together. We won't even get started on that list. HAHA SO MUCH TV!
SAme taste in music...same taste in TV lol. I'm also hoping that revenge picks up a little. It was a can't miss for me last season. I'm a huge CW fan in general....holdover from my youth of WB shows I guess.
Ahh Fall TV is the best. We had to upgrade our cable just so we could record everything we wanted... LOOOVE all these shows!

We have VERY similar taste in TV shows. I feel like I record everything on the CW! Gossip Girl and TVD are my absolute favorites. And I'm seriously going to cry when GG ends! And I 100% agree. I need a Blair/Chuck wedding to happen!
And I am also loving Beauty and the Beast! :)
I think Beauty and the Beast is replacing Ringer for me as well, even though I promised myself no new TV shows! Some of my other favourites are Raising Hope (so funny!) and Criminal Minds. And I loved Cougar Town but they switched it to a network that I don't get.
I love Modern Family & Revenge as well. And I agree, the white haired man and Emily's mom is all kinds of strange right now. As is what Daniel is going to do...
We should really be friends in real life. We would have so much to talk about.
if you ever need to discuss anything on any of these shows my phone is always by my side.
p.s. do you not watch Downton?? it ALso, I'm into the boy shows like Breaking Bad and Walking Dead... it helps to balance out my teenage dramas.
It's official..I live in a hole..because I've only heard of half of these shows! I blame it on hardly watching television but you've got me so intrigued! Also, can't wait to hear how Madge goes tonight! She's a hottie! I saw her at the SuperBowl and it was amazing!

I am obsessed with New Girl!! Literally laugh out loud almost the entire show. I will have to pick up some of the shows you like!

We watch a lot of the same shows! I have a spreadsheet to keep up with mine...I couldn't believe it when they cancelled Ringer!!! It was getting so good! I can't wait for Whitney to come back on either...I heard it's been postponed :(
This year my shows are Grey's and Mindy Project. I'm super excited for PLL and Whitney too!

Girl, where do you find the time?! I have not seen oh 90% of these shows. I live under a rock...aka I have a baby and now have no free time. Oh, and I fall asleep at sundown.

So glad I'm not alone in this because I thought I watch a lot of TV. LOL I should take a picture of the notebook I'm using to keep track of all the shows I'm watching. :( It's getting ridiculous but I believe it's keeping me sane too. ;)
We watch a lot of the same shows, probably because they are amazing! It sucks because i always work late on Thursday but that's what Hulu is for Friday morning! lol

About the white haired man (he was seeing Emily's mom -- the lady at the motel when the "detective" stopped by.) But you do know he's dead now, right..? I'm curious if Emily will be finding her mom and telling her the news. Hmm..

I'm happy that for once I can comment on shows! I am ACTUALLY watching some of these this season! I'm LOVING The Voice and Modern Family, but Nashville has won for me. I love that they sing all their own stuff and that Lennon and Maisy are on it. Let's just hope it stays good!
LOVE Parenthood. Love, love, love. I also watch Hart of Dixie---if she does not stop jacking around and get with George, I'm going to scream!
