It seems that I have acquired some new friends around here so I wanted to take the day to not only say Hello! .. but also give you guys a glimpse into this blonde head of mine.
That's me, Sami. I will also respond to Samikins, Samiam, and Samilicious or pretty much any nickname for that matter. I'm 65 inches short, occasionally big mouthed, and a full on social media addict. I can be the sweetest, but I can also be the snarkiest. I'll let you pick which side you'd like to see ;)
Let's start with the hair as it's generally what I get the most comments and/or questions about. It's 100% real from the color to the length and no you can't touch it. Just kidding, but really people ask this from time to time. They also ask me if it's a wig which is not only weird but also slightly offensive. I don't have any secrets except that I try to only wash it and use heat products on it 3 times a week. Lately I've been using this product and I love it. I also love that it was formulated to make your hair look like Blake Lively's and it smells good. Yep, I'm okay with that!

I currently reside in Denver, CO but I don't plan on staying here. On second thought, I probably shouldn't say that because I'll jinx myself. What can I say.. I'm very superstitious! Anyways, I'd like to skip off into the sunset and land in either Chicago, Dallas, or New York City. I believe I was born to be a big city gal and I don't love mountains or snow. I know, I know. What kind of Colorado native doesn't like those things? It just sort of happened. Outdoorsy? I am not. Unless of course you mean posing in the middle of 6th St in Austin.. I'll go outdoors for that.
There is one little 7 lb ball of energy that has my whole heart and her name is Lily. I met her on a random trip to Petco which happened to be doggy adoption day. I wasn't planning on falling in love, but I did and the rest is history. We are coming up on our one-year anniversary as a little family, and she still thanks me for her sassy name. It couldn't fit her more perfectly!
I enjoy a wide array of things. Some of those things include: laughing, Moscow Mules, Mean Girls quotes, Oklahoma State, group text, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Twitter, GIF's, Gavin DeGraw, sarcasm, glitter, bold jewelry, and weekend getaways.
So what have we learned here today? I'm 100% real, both my hair and my personality. I also don't like the outdoors and I enjoy a very random assortment of things. Anything else you're wondering about? Feel free to ask!
PS. Thanks my BFF Dana for photos 1,2, and 5. She is da best! xoxo
Have a great weekend and see you Monday for Weekend Update!

Please go to Dallas. Then I can come down and play with you and Leenie every weekend. And we can all live together like a sorority for old gals, but we'll invite Leenie's husband too. He can be the house dad. Then we can convince Whitty and Brooke to pledge.
I've obviously done some thinking.
you do have AMAZING hair - it is perfection! I am in the middle of a hair crisis, but thinking I may go back to blonde! I used to use Kerestase, its so pricey but soooo effective! :) have a great weekend lovely!
I love your hair, it's so pretty! Who doesn't love glitter and mean girl quotes? :)
I am offended that you did not credit my photography skillllz for all the recent pics of you. Either way, Chicago would love to have you!
second to ty's comment.
i just love you too much. even if you don't like the outdoors
I love Ty Ty's idea. Let's go do it and float on the river!
I love my real Sami!! :) I also happen to enjoy Mean Girls quotes and GIFs, though you already know both of these things, so clearly we're just meant to be.
Your sass would fit perfectly in Dallas! That's my vote. Texas would love to have you! ;)
Your hair is pretty perfect and amazing. I mean, I'm totally jealous of it. ;)
This is so perfect...love every little bit of this. Outdoorsy, I am not, either. Now, I'm outdoorsy in the fact that I like to drink on balconies or porches. We need to add that to our list of things to do on our big meet up, whenever that shall happen! Oh, and I def want to be included in this old gal sorority house. Sounds like the perfect plan to me :)
Orlando is a biggish city, you bish.
I just wanna skip around with you and your pretty hair. As long as you don't judge that I need weave to make my hairz purtty.
Your hair is perfection. Like, above Kate Middleton status.
Also I agree on the outdoorsy front. The only reason to ever be outside is if I'm: tailgating, day drinking, on the beach, or in a hot tub.
New York City. I'd go with picking that one. It's the best.
And I am horrified of walking into a petstore for that very reason. My life can not afford a dog and I am obsessed with them so I'd easily take one home
You talked about THE HAIR. Which is not A WIG. Kim Z ain't got nuttin' on you Sami.
OMG I can't believe that gorgeous hair color of yours is natural. I'm surprised I haven't gone bald yet with as much as I used to dye my hair.. oops
Love your Excuse my french shirt! Too cute! I like being a city girl too! Even though, i was born country!
New reader here!
Being outdoorsy is for the birds! I live in Wisconsin and I know quite a few ladies who are of the hunting/camping/fishing persuasion...yeah, not me. I'd die. I'd look fabulous, but I'd die.
Love you and your blog!

I don't trust people that actually like the outdoors:) I am an inside girl, all the way. Love the intro post...it is fun to read more about you!
Lily!
She's just too cute. I think Brut would like a piece of her.
I'd like to touch your hurrr. JK. It is gorgeous though. I am going to try that LUMIÈRE LIQUIDE!
All of these pictures from your Chicago trip means you should just move here. I mean obviously it's what you need to do.
I WISH I could only use heating tools on my hair 3 times a week.... I need you to teach me your ways!!!!
Loved getting to learn more about you! I am totally with you on being a city girl, the reason I won't ever live in New Zealand with my boyfriend is because they are severely lacking a big city here. I can't wait to be home to my beloved Vancouver!
Your hair is gorgeous. I also use Keratase and its amazing, although proabably not the best thing to buy on a student's budget :s
Life of Ally
If this doesn't make the new followers fall in love with you then they have no heart. You are so cute!!!
I LOVE your boots. Where did you get them?
Heeyy! I nominated you and your blog for the Versatile Blogger Award. Check it out here http://grubnmarriage.blogspot.com/2013/01/versatile-blogger-award-goes-to-me.html!! Congrats <3
You're so cute! I used to get the "is it a perm" question all the time, which truly annoys me. Your hair, in NO way, looks fake!
