I am not in the brightest of moods today so I'm hoping this fun post today cheers me up! We got a standard Colorado snow storm last night and unfortunately 7 inches isn't enough to keep me from work so I had to make the dreaded commute which took me close to two hours. That move to just about anywhere else is looking pretty good right about now. I hope Whitney has room for me and Lily at the Princess Palace.. we'd love some sunshine right about now.
Anyways, let me tell you a little story..
Once upon a time there was a blonde haired blogger who saw all of her blogger buddies getting bestowed with pretty hair tools from a magical place called Misikko. She dreamt of someday getting her very own and hoped and prayed that someday she would. Meanwhile, she dried her hair with her Conair hair dryer that was taped together after one too many falls of the counter. One day her wish came true and she found a pretty white box waiting on her door step. It was the HANAair Professional Hair Dryer and it was beautiful. Oh, and that blonde haired blogger was me.. duhz.
From the first time I used it I was sold, not only did it leave my hair looking fabulous.. but it was faster, stronger, and made my hair softer than any other hair dryer I've ever used. From wet to dry only takes me about 10 minutes which really is magic for the girl who leaves for work at 7:00am. Truthfully I could probably leave my hair in it's freshly blow dried state, but usually I run either my Chi straightener or my Argan Oil curling iron through it to finish styling it. BEWARE: no makeup pictures are located below.. I don't want to scare you!
Here are the products that I've been using along with the hair dryer to get my everyday look. I'm a firm believer that you don't have to use the most expensive products to get the best results. The hair dryer and the serum are the only two things below that cost more than $20! The organix products and hair brush can be purchased at Ulta with a trusty 20% of coupon, the curling iron is a 1 and 1/4 inch from Sally's, and the Kerastase serum was purchased from Birchbox with a coupon.

It takes me 20 minutes to blowdry my hair with my questionable excuse for a hairdyer. This pretty would solve all of my problems and morning struggles!!! Little dramatic, but really it would make blow drying my hair much more pleasant :)

I am in love with Biosilk Silk Therapy Serum. My hair feels so soft after using it! And I have super thick hair, so thick that I wash it the night before and blow dry for 20 minutes the next morning. This Hana would be perfect for my morning routine.

I've been using a travel hairdryer by conair for a few years so having a fancy hairdryer would be heaven! I can't imagine how my hair would feel after using one! My favorite hair product is my one inch hot tools curling iron! It's the perfect size for my hair and works so well! :)

I'm pretty simple and cheap when it comes to hair care. I use suave shampoo and cheap home hair dyes. My favorite tool is probably my straightner which is some cheap version too since I didn't splurge or anything. I have straight hair anyway so I didn't need any powerful tool, just use it for touching up some areas. :-)

ALL TIME FAV hair product?! Oh dear. I'm going to have to go with more of a tool...the FLAT IRON! My first legit flat iron changed my life. My hair is so naturally textured and wavy/wiry, that w/out it I look like a walking humidity bubble. I've been using a GHD for the last 7 years. I ordered the Hana original but sent it back because it didn't "grab" my hair tightly enough. I'm about to order a Croc to try it out (also from Misikko) next week. Hopefully I'll like it but if I don't, its back to GHD, ha! I keep wishing the people at Misikko would gift me something too...but its not happened yet so I give them $, ha

No for real, I love detangler to the moon and back. I have super fine and pretty long hair, and I drive a Jeep, AND I live in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains! Put all that together and you have a very tangle-headed girl.
