Hi Bunnies!
Yesterday I openly admitted that I am a shopaholic and will probably need an intervention some day. Nobody turned me in for Shopaholic's Anonymous yet so I think we are good. To continue the shopping trend I thought I would share some of my recent purchases, but first I need to reveal the answer from yesterday's 2 Truths and a Lie.
one. I have a Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Macys credit card- False. I don't have a single credit card that I use for shopping. My thought is that if I can't afford it right then, then I shouldn't buy it! My debt free inner budget diva thanks me.
two. I met Roberto Cavalli at a fashion show in college- True! I volunteered at Fashion in the Park at Northpark Mall in Dallas in 2009 and it was a blast. I also met the lovely gals from Marchesa and Jason Wu. It was awesome!
three. I own over 150 pairs of shoes- True! I'm not sure the exact number but I have three shoe holders in my closet, shelves full of boots, and buckets of unworn shoes. It's a little out of control, but my Mom has about 500 pairs I think so it definitely runs in the family.
Most of you guessed right, I'm either a really terrible liar or you're all just geniuses. Either way Britney and I clap for you!
Now for my recent purchases..
Prabal Gurung for Target
Two Sundays ago I woke up bright and early at 6:30am so that I could head to my local Target and get in line and be one of the first shoppers to see the new line at 8:00am. This was my first time at a Target collaboration launch and it was actually alot of fun. When the doors opened there were probably only 30 people waiting and there was no running or fighting, everyone was calm and I was glad I didn't have to elbow anyone. I had a few items that I knew I wanted to try, but since everything was available I took almost the whole line into the dressing room to try on. I'm glad I did because I ended up loving things that I initially didn't even plan on getting. Here's what I narrowed it down to:
one. Black pointy-toe flat
These were online only and somewhat of a last minute splurge. I knew I wanted the patterned ones, but I have been needing a professional pair of black flats so I thought I would grab these while they were available! Perfect for work.
two. Nolita printed long sleeve tee
The prints that were designed for this line were probably my favorite thing about it, so I knew I wanted to get something that had them. I was obsessed with the button up shirt dress that they created in this pattern, but the fit was off on me. I thought the tee would be so fun to layer with other pieces!
three. Floral Crush printed long sleeve tee
Same as above, I loved this print! I almost got the dress and the blazer in this print but I wanted something a little more versatile so I would get alot of wear out if it. I've already worn it twice and I can already tell it's going to be go-to in my closet.
four. Nolita print pointy-toe flat
I'm obsessed with these shoes! They are going to go with so much and they are such a fun way to spice up my daily work wear. I already wore them this weekend and they added the perfect pop to my black sweater and skinny jeans.
Old Navy
Old Navy is one of my all-time favorite places to shop, I would say 25% of my closet is from there. Not only do they have great staples, but they always have coupons and sales and people never guess you were shopping at Old Navy when they ask about your clothes. It's a win for both my closet and my wallet! I recently had a buy $75 get $30 off coupon so here is what I picked up:
five. Lightweight Graphic sweater in light heather gray
Saw this on my BFF Chris' blog and went that afternoon to get it! It was a big hit for Valentine's day, plus Chris and I matched.. which was awesome.
six. Button front crepe blouse in blue stripe
I found this in clearance for $15 and sized up so that it would be a tunic to wear with leggings and boots. Great casual outfit and loves the stripes!
seven. Chambray shirt in mid-tone
I have a really light colored Chambray and I wanted something darker for this Spring. I can't wait to pair this with one of the long sleeve tee's from above! I also know it's going to be great over a maxi dress or with a maxi skirt. Hey warmer weather.. I'm waiting!
eight. Lightweight Graphic sweater in Green Goddess
I initially went in for this sweater in gray but when I tried it on and realized how well it fit and how lightweight it was, I knew I had to get it in both colors. This one is so bright and fun! These are going to be Spring staples.
All of these are very recent finds, so you should be able to find the in stores now!
Now tell me, what have you bought recently that I need to go out and get? This shopaholic is always looking for a must buy!
Linking up with Shanna here.

OMG I need to be like you..I have 3 store cards and I need to get rid of them..they are bad news!
haha i guessed right. but I had a tough time deciding. can you come to Dallas and go shopping with me? k tanks bye.
I have too many cards... Working like a bat out of hell to pay them off, close them and cut them up! 150? I thought I had a lot of shoes! Daaaaaaaamn girl :cue Justin Timberlake:
Both pairs of those flats are super adorable! I need more cute flats :)
I adore all of your purchases! I love your style.
I was trying my best to not even look at the new Prabal Gurung line for Target because I knew it would be trouble. And now I need those nolita print flats haha.
I tried on those colorful flats but they look much better on you than on me! They make my little feet look like boats haha! I'm paying off my Banana Repub credit card with my tax return - debt free is the best way to be :)
I want the printed PG flats so bad, but our Target didn't have them! I almost settled for the pumps but didn't bc I knew I wouldn't wear them enough.. but they were FABULOUS! O MY.
Maybe its just me... but I think that Britt Britt looks like she is makin it rain with some dolla bills... either way... good GIF choice for this post :)
Those shoes (#4) are adorable. Love them!
I wish more people would shop like you! I have one store card (Banana), but I'm that crazy who buys something and then goes home and pays it off right away. If you can't afford it, DON'T BUY IT! Simple.
And I love all your purchases! Such a fun collection.
I have a few store cards, but I use them really for the points and pay them off each month. I agree, if you can't afford it don't buy it. I am on a spending freeze this month, trying to save up to pay off my car, so unfortunatly I can't buy anything right now, but I can't wait to get some new spring clothes. All of these fashion posts are getting me excited for when my spending freeze is over!!
GIMME the Old Navy love right MEOWWWW.
I'm loving Old Navy right now-just bought the boyfriend jeans...but it's too cold to wear them.
I can't even handle going to all those links because I know it will result in an immediate call from my husband freaking the eff out on me for spending all our money.
I'm definitely not a shoe person, but wish I was. I mean, we need to be honest with ourselves though, 150 is a little excessive. Not to say I don't still love you, because I do. But really, Sami. :)
xo,
samm
I want those black pointy toe flats! I am jealous of your shoe collection! And that is SO cool that you met Roberto Cavalli!
an apple computer.
Let me tell you how I feel about Old Navy, a couple years ago they fell down a dark awful fashion hole and within the last year or so they've really made a statement. Their prices are low and the quality of their clothes is top notch. I love going in there and walking out with at least 5 pieces under $60 total.
This comment is too long. BYEEEEE
good purchases! i never seem to make it to the target design collab launches. next time i swear i will go! and then i'll probably spend an extra 100 bucks on crap i don't need, because that is what i do at target!

Ok, but you have the Target Red card, right? 5% off of EVERY PURCHASE??? Holllla.
Oh and obviously I did make it to Targ this morning and splurged on some cute springy shirts for the little mister. Time to start that baby fashion blog, eh?
I think I guessed right! :) Your recent purchases make me want to run to Target and Old Navy! So cute!
150 pairs of shoes....that's my girl!!! You can NEVER have too many...don't ever let anyone tell you different! And I sadly skipped out on the Target collab...kicking myself now...need those flats!!
I'm super jealous of those Nolita print flats! Love that were twinkies! Miss you!
At least you can take pride in knowing you're not a true shopaholic since you don't have any credit cards. If I do recall in the movie she had to defrost hers from a block of ice haha. No need for an intervention.....yet! ;)
Cheers to Old Navy! I have a bunch of maxis and sundresses from there for my upcoming trip -- love them!
The Love tops are super cute! And where do you keep so many shoes?!
I love this!! Are the shoes comfy though? Did you get blisters?
Good for you being debt free! I have tons of shoes too. I try not to "over" buy, but you do need the right shoes to complete every outfit ;)
