While I was doing my daily blog brainstorming I started thinking about Twitter. As you all should know, I am a Twitter addict. I check it daily, (more like hourly) and I love to read a mixture of celebrity tweets, funny tweets, and of course all of my bloggy tweets. If it came down to a choice of one from all of the social media platforms, I would always pick Twitter hands down.
We all know that it's pretty easy to bring Instagram on to blogs, but it's not as easy to bring Twitter to them and I wanted a way I could combine my love of twitter with my love of blogging. Insert the Twitter Recap, a collection of some of my favorite tweets from the past week. I thought it would be a fun way to showcase Twitter in a new way, combining funny tweets from celebrities while also shouting out some of my favorite bloggers. My girl Dana told me she loved the idea, as she's not always around to check Twitter so highlighting some of the good ones allows her to still see them!
I'm hoping to make it a weekly thing, but we'll see how it goes and play it by ear! Most importantly, I want to make sure all of you like it. I'm also hoping to get submissions from all of you so that it's not just me picking the tweets.
Since this is the first week and this past Sunday was pretty much the biggest day for Twitter all year long, I decided to stick with the Superbowl as this week's theme. Enough rambling from me, let's let the Tweets do the talking.

I have actually gotten worse about checking Twitter. I enjoy it, but just don't have the time/battery life on my phone. I really enjoy your new idea for a Twitter recap, and Superbowl was the perfect candidate! It was a fantastic laugh to start off my Monday :)
